SmartPlay
2013
The SmartPlay system was a college project for the capstone class. It is a system designed for the automation of data collection in an arcade. It consisted of one or more modules which could be retrofitted into an arcade machine, which allowed payments and reward collection to occur using an RFID card. The module connected to a private network to transmit the transaction data to a central server which authorized payments and managed configurations. An admin panel was used to manage the user accounts and machine configurations, as well as the automatic generation of the reports used by the manager.
This project was done in a 4 man team composed of Luis Torres (PM), Juan Gómez,
Andrés Cordero and Hector Ayala (me) under the group name PlaySolutions.
