CardioTag

2012
The CardioTAG portable Electrocardiogram (ECG) device was a college project for the microprocessors class. It enabled users to record ECG signals and wirelessly display this information on a handheld device.

The device utilized a TI MSP430 microprocessor along with an analog front-end module to retrieve the signals from the ECG leads connected to the patient. The system used an SD card for data storage. In addition, the system had a Bluetooth module to connect to a mobile device wirelessly to review the data and to configure the device. The device could also function in standalone mode by using the integrated controls built in.

This project was done in a 4 man team composed of Luis Torres (PM), Juan Gómez, Andrés Cordero and Hector Ayala (me) under the group name Lebentek.
